Test Standard and Way of Wearing Anti-static shoes
1. Product Executive Standard CE20345:2011. Test on electrical performance shall follow GB4385-1995 Appendix A.
2. Anti-static shoes are able to eliminate electrostatic accumulation on human body while preventing less than 250V electric shock, which are applicable to be worn in combustible and explosive area.
3. Wearing anti-static shoes as insulated shoes is strictly forbidden, and no thick woolen socks or insulating shoe-pads shall be in anti-static shoes when wearing them, which shall be applied to antistatic ground.
4. Anti-static shoes shall be given resistance value test once per 200 hours in wearing; if its resistance value is out of 100KΩ-1000MΩ, the shoes shall not be used as anti-static shoes anymore. As of date in produced, anti-static shoes surpassing 18 months shall be given relevant electrical performance tests, and only those passed testing standard shall be allowed further sale and use.
5. In storage, anti-static shoes shall be placed in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse to prevent discoloration by mould, with over 0.2m off the ground and walls, and more than 1m away from any heating unit. In transport and storage process, the shoes shall be strictly kept away from any oil, acid, alkaline or other corrosive substances.
