International Standard to Divide Safety Shoes
EN20345:2011 is the latest European standard issued for safety shoes certification. Currently countries in the world adopt EN20345 standard for safety footwear import or manufacture. EN20345:2011 standard is mainly divided into six categories: SB,SBP,S1, S1P, S2 and S3.
S B: 1. shock-absorbing outsole, and dual density; 2. grease proofing (for 22 hours under 20-degree room temperature); 3. antiskid; 4. steel toe (shock-resistant to 200 Joule energy, and pressure-resistant to 1500 Newton)
SBP: 1.shock-absorbing outsole, and dual density; 2.grease proofing; 3.antiskid; 4.steel toe; 5.steel mid-sole (Penetration Resistant to 1100 Newtons)
S 1: 1. shock-absorbing outsole, and dual density; 2.grease proofing; 3.antiskid; 4.steel toe; 5. anti-static sole
S1P: 1. shock-absorbing outsole, and dual density; 2.grease proofing; 3.antiskid; 4.steel toe; 5. steel mid-sole; 6. anti-static sole
S 2: 1. shock-absorbing outsole, and dual density; 2.grease proofing; 3.antiskid; 4.steel toe; 5.anti-static sole; 6. vamp waterproof
S 3: 1. shock-absorbing outsole, and dual density; 2.grease proofing; 3.antiskid; 4.steel toe; 5. steel mid-sole; 6. anti-static sole; 7. vamp waterproof
B stands for steel toe P stands for steel mid-sole
